  8. king. In 1938 he introduced a new
  9. constitution under which he practically
  10. became an absolute ruler. He was forced to
  11. abdicate by the pro-Nazi Iron Guard Sept
  12. 1940, went to Mexico, and married his
  13. mistress 1947.
